Since her graduation from Aveda in 1994, Mo has spent her entire career in the Aveda network. Her natural curiosity, love of hairdressing, sponge-like need to learn, and inability to sit still drove her to try every flavor in the world of hair: as stylist/colorist, educator, manager, coach, creative director, writer of curriculum, hair show artist, and now, owner of Miyagi. Mo thrives on change and evolution. She has a ferocious passion for taking care of people, which makes her well-suited to the role of ninja salon owner. Mo’s styles have graced models at the Voltage: Fashion Amplified shows and numerous other high fashion events and ad campaigns, and some of the most beautiful people in the world: her clients.As of May 1, 2013, Mo will be seeing clients at Avant, an Aveda salon in downtown Minneapolis. |

TARA JOSEPHINE:BLACK BELT STYLIST
After beautifying the people of Lawrence, Kansas for 6 years, Tara decided she needed an adventure. So she packed her bags and headed for Taiwan, where she and her family lived for the next 2 years. Drawn back stateside, she found herself in Northeast Minneapolis and Miyagi, where her legendary cutting and coloring skills are available to you Wednesdays through Saturdays. Besides gracing Northeast with her bright smile and fantastic talent, Tara holds the honor of being the Dojo’s first bilingual Ninja.As of April 29, 2013, Tara will be seeing clients for hair and spa services at the Sanctuary, downtown Minneapolis location. |

Since she first wielded a pair of scissors, Anna has dreamed of being a hair ninja! After experimenting with lots of art forms such as photography and comic book illustration, she discovered her true artistic passion was in hair and makeup. A huge geek with a true love of all things vintage and quirky, Anna and her rainbow scissors are on a mission to give you great hair and put a smile on your face.As of May 7, 2013, Anna will be seeing clients at Rue 48 Salon in south Minneapolis. |

She is of hippy / rasta / revolutionist descent, and is always striving to make others happy with her positive vibe. Our beloved Peter was near death when our ninja stylists rescued and adopted him into our family. With constant love and attention Peter has blossomed into a beautiful and jolly member of our team. He has now earned the envious position as our greeter. Stop in sometime to give Peter a hug; he is anxiously awaiting your visit. Peter will reside at co-owner Chris Strouth’s new studio in downtown Minneapolis, along with the other salon plants. |
